Many phones aren't compatible with exFAT (I'm not sure it there are any devices that are compatible--others can chime in). You could try formatting the card to NTFS on your computer, but not sure if your phone will support this either.

Not true. The S8/S8+ (most devices made in the past for years) can read/write microSD cards up to 2TB. Currently, the largest available is 400GB, which is made by SanDisk.
