The default works very well and is almost the same for Odyssey and (I assume) Valhalla. It takes just a little bit of time to get used to the old controls again if you play an old school AC. There are a few buttons changes like calling mount and stuff for Valhalla but mostly the same as origins. Alternative.
I switched to InputMapper and it actually tricks your PC into thinking it's a 360 Controller, so the Xbox Icons will show up in the controls. Try InputMapper if you haven't already. InputMapper will let you use your DS4 as a 360 Controller. A = X, B = O and so forth. Windows doesn't have native DS4 support, so there are no PS4 controller icons.
