The bikes are based on a new LC8c parallel-twin engine, featuring a 90cc increase in displacement from 799c to the 889cc.

Instead, KTM uses a progressive damping system to provide a similar effect. The Ktm 890 Adventure is a great bike for off-road riding. It has a lot of power and it handles well in rough terrain. The Husqvarna Norden 901 is also a great off-road bike, but it is a bit more expensive than the Ktm 890 Adventure. The Norden 901 is also a great street bike. It has great handling and it is very comfortable to ride.

But for adventure aficionados who were accustomed to the long-haul, high-speed comfort of a 1000-1250cc powerplant, the 790 didn’t quite offer enough torque or versatility. And that’s exactly why the 790’s successor, the 2021 KTM 890 Adventure R, gets more cubes and a lot of development to both its mapping and electronics package.
